Throughout the fall and winter I was checking the BRP parts catalog online to find the part number so I could order the cushion. In Feb or Mar I finally found it in the accessory catalog (PAC) but the picture was of a 180. I took a chance and ordered it hoping it would fit. I have the tan or taupe accented interior with the SE, but the catalog listed parts for the SP and Wake models that should match the orange and red respectively.
The cushion showed up 2 weeks ago (it was back-ordered) and turns out it fit my 2010! There were a couple of surprises. The first surprise was that the bow cushion included a back rest. I had no idea this was part of the package. The second surprise was that some assembly was required. The cushion itself was two pieces and a hinge was provided to attach the two together. There was also an elastic loop to attach to the cushion and a plastic hook to attach to the boat. The hook and loop holds the cushion in place.
A couple of thoughts. The back rest is a little klunky to put into position. I don't know if this specific to my boat or the backrest I received, but there is a slight alignment issue that I might need to fix. The other thing is that I had to drill some additional holes to install the hinge. The pre-drills from the factory and how the upholstery was attached did not allow the hinge to line up correctly.
We took the boat out this past weekend and I was able to get some pictures. I also attached the instructions that came with it. The instructions also included the 230 so there are some good pictures of that setup as well. I haven't been able to find any information anywhere on the web so hopefully this helps somebody out.
