Where do you store your boat when it is not in the water, does it have time to dry out when you are not using it?

Stored in a garage for 7 months & still doesn't dry out.

2004 Sportster LE DI.
Really just want to see if it starts. Had it winterized & tuned up before we put it in the garage.
