Well I just finished up my exhaust mod on my C180. I removed the resonator and fabricated a pipe from the water box to the new Rude outlet. I have not heard it yet because the boat is all winterized but it should sound good. Take a look at the pictures, the only thing I'm worried about is water flooding but the new pipe is way above the outlet so I hope its fine. Let me know if you see any issues.

What To Do?
14 October 2010 - 01:24 PM
I know this has been talked about and talked about, but I just picked up my "new" 2008 C180 with 46 hours on it and have done ALOT of reading about the washers in the SC. From what I have read mine should have the updated SC but still have the ceramic washers in it? Correct? I figure that I might as well swap them out during the off season but am not sure if that is all I need to replace. I was an auto mechanic for several years so the task is no big deal but I'm not sure how much to replace and I have also heard alot of people just say leave it alone including dealers who say they have not even heard there was an issue or that that "problem" was corrected in that model year. Please advise.

Hi all,
I just signed on the dotted line for my "new to me" 2008 Challenger 180. Im in NY and its in FL so I have to go down and "Sea Trial" it before I seal the deal. Its got 44hrs on it and looks to be in mint shape I paid $13500 for it and am curious how I did. Also any thing special or hidden I should look for when I get there before I hand over the money?
Thanks for the help
