In Topic: Pics of my Pulled S/C what type of washers

I have a 2008 C180 and when I pulled my SC they looked just like that and they would not scratch either, when I pulled it apart one was cracked and the other was chipped (46 hours). So I would say they are ceramic and would change them ASAP its worth the time and money just for the peace of mind.

Well the seat works great! It is stable in any position. It is like having a suspension seat and soaks up the bumps in a pretty good chop.

I don't think any HP gains will be seen with this mod. I did it for the sound and for more room for my intake.

I took some measurements and the highest point of the pipe is about 10" above water level and the outlet is just below the water level. I am not as worried as I was before I took the measurements but it will be something I will keep an eye on.
I am also working on the sound clips, it's hard to get a good clip because of the driveline noise that is there when the boat is out of the water. It does sound very throaty at idle, I think it will sound great on the water.

In Topic: Still Boating?

Since it is going to be 80 degrees and sunny again here this weekend in okc, ok, I will probably head to the lake. You have to love the weather here. Last weekend was the first weekend I actually broke out the wetsuit. The water temp is about 70 so its boarder line not wearing one.
What is the weather like everywhere else?
Anybody else still boating?
Winterized?
Rain and 50's in Rochester, NY
Our boat is all winterized and tore part for winter mods! But last weekend and a couple days this week were mid 70's and its real hard to see the boat in that condition on days like that. Water temp would be great for running the boat, not so good for water sports. Its about 60 little cool!!
