I got a code P1520 with a flashing oil light today just after speeding up the boat (after getting past the no wake zone in the marina). I searched but couldnt find that code...closest I found was the P0520 which is a faulty oil pressure switch. Am I right to assume thats my problem? The oil was check and is within good level to operate. Where would i find this switch? Also, I've read that there are 2 oil pressure switches and they both should be replaced at the same time? I really need some advice on this if possible.
Boat is a 07 180 CHallenger SE SCIC.

Code P1520?

12V Power Outlet
26 May 2011 - 04:45 PM
I've tried using a plugged in spotlight while driving our boat at night but the 12v outlet doesnt seem to work. Is there a fuse for the 12v outlet, if so where can it be found?
Coolant level went way high
23 August 2010 - 11:35 AM
I noticed yesterday after getting back to the dock from about 3 hours on the very rough water, that the coolant level in the bottle was all the way at the top, almost full. Before we went out it was between the lines as it should be (closer to max however). Any reason why this happened? Any ideas?
VHF Radio
05 August 2010 - 09:53 AM
I'm looking to purchase a VHF radio and since I know nothing about them, I'm looking for some suggestions.
We were on the water yesterday and had to get towed in due to some steering issues with the boat. We dont have a VHF, we used cell phones to contact TowBoat US. We were advised to get a VHF radio.
I could use some advice. thanks

Which sensor is the Engine Temperature Sensor?
26 July 2010 - 10:27 AM
I never realized that there are more than one part listed under the name Temperature Sensor in the parts catalog. In relation to my P1116 Engine Temperature Sensor code, which part exactly is it referring to? Which of the temperature sensors?
Can anyone point me in the direction of the part that this code refers to? The temperature sensor part numbers I'm coming up with are:
Part# 420222428
Part# 278001016
Part# 420222425
Which one should I be replacing? Please help. We tested the boat yesterday and the code is still there.
