That sounds like a nightmare. Did you download the shop manual, http://seadoosportbo...wc-shop-manual/? Does it give you any better instructions?

Hi John, We are a family of 5 (3 kids age 14, 12 & 9) plus 2 dogs a golden retreiver and a saint bernard. We own a 2001 seadoo challenger 20ft. It is a great size for us. It does hav ethe MErc engine (200hp). If I could offer any advice is to go with more HP. The 240 is great or the 250 as well. No problem with the 200HP, just when trying to have 240Lbs people waterski behind it would like a little more muscle. If you are into waterskiing and wakeboarding behind it be prepared for a little bit of skaring on the back end. My wife loves to drive the challenger (no lower unit to worry about). Goes through fuel pretty well. But we don't own boats for fuel economy! Lots of storage on our 20ft. we did look at the 18, just a little small for all of us plus toys and cooler bag. Do advise getting the low speed assist steering if available. I like the boats and would only change to go up in HP or to a Utopia (like the styling of those better). Hope this helps.

If any one could assist with some advice on the low speed steering I would really appreciate it. Seem to be stumped right now. Visual shows
no problems, don't now exactly what to look for? Thanks in advance. Also if anyone knows an easy way to take a starter off a 1988 seadoo sp
I would love to hear how. I have no skin left on my knuckles and neighbours are very upset by my swearing!

do you need to blow it out if it is a environmentally friendly antifreeze?? I thought you could ust drop it in the water and go. I used to do this with my outboards and inboard motors. Please let me know if I am wrong. Thanks
