Boating in other states...

Hey All...

I've been trying to locate information about boating out of my home state. As a resident of VT, I do not need to have any qualifications because I am meet the grandfathered age requirements (born prior to 01/74)..just made it.

However, other states ie Massachusetts require a boating certificate for their residents. Does that mean I would need one too? I could probably call a few people, but wanted to get the SDSB.COM community's opinion first.

Winterizing + Service

I just received a quote from the dealer that the first service, + winterizing, will cost about $200.00. Does that seem high? What does the first service normally include? I thought it was basic oil change, plus inspection.

Trailering

Hi,

Quick question... When trailering the doo, it seems to bang a lot. The straps are all tight, but it just sounds weird. This is even on small bumps.

Do i have it too high or too low on the trailer? I don't want to crack the hull of course, so I'm not sure what to do.
