So these boats aren't even fired before they are sent home with a customer?
Or would the problem only be found by throttling up under load?

Just guerssing here but,
Fitting the engine probably won't be the issue. It will be the electronics to conrol the fuel injection.
I don't know how hard it would be, but you may need to get a "brain box" from another fuel injected Seadoo. I think they are MPEMS, but I don't know how easy swapping would be.

Finally got it onto the water today.
They wife says she likes the turf even better in the daylight (instead of the "barn") and it feet good under foot.
The water was quite cold, and it was a bit windy, so I don't know how it wet traction is.
She also said it sounded quieter, and i didn't even metion that as a possibility. i thought so too, but felt maybe it was in my head.
The definitely the first thing any new owner does to their boat. I wish I bought it sooner, but kinda glad I waited for the yellow camo color.

Nice, you are set for any day on the water.
I was close to buying a ski this year, but I am a trailer boater, so the was no way I could get the Speedster and the new ski on the water at the same time!
