I have switched from 2 small batterys to a single. Now I am having ignition issues with missing or no spark. Just a fluke or is this a no no???

Help, one engine keeps having issues, no clue why. when i disconect battery and reset its fine for a bit. I switched from two batteys to one. is this a problem?

Took my 96 speedster out to the beach and played alot, on way back it overheated and melted down exhaut. Yuck what a job putting tube in! Anyway blew through all lines fixed and replaced hoses, still getting warm and water flow seems slow and not getting through to exhaust???? Help Im stumped, checked for rope ect, all things I can think of. Any ideas?

Second problem I may have is i see water comming in? Look like under the engine, while its just sitting at the dock(slow trickle) Is the a hose fitting under there or did I damage hull? I do play a little rough~
