Sand in waterjacket maybe. Did you backflush? You should have flush fittings up top where on each side under hatch that are plugged....

Check your driveshaft seals for your water leak.

Ok, sand was the start of the problem for sure lines plugged up. Back flushed as suggested. still over heated! Then I pulled jet, oring gasket had become dislodged
and was blocking half of water flow. So I may have used to much water pressure blowing throught the line its self.
Good news is it runs again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you checked for any cracks or holes in the engine bay to see if you might be taking water on this way?

Last night found that grate had been torn off and inserts pulled right through hull, eww not good. Patched with 3m filler.
