PICS of Challenger in FL Keys
04 November 2006 - 09:54 AM
From a recent getaway, only hitch was a flat tire on the trailer, and running the boat in too shallow h2o, busted a wear ring. good pics, tho.
bbq's on board? IDEA
10 September 2006 - 06:22 AM
been a while since i've posted (too busy having fun on the challenger), logged about 500 miles on the trailer last weekend.
anyway, i have this idea to somehow mount a bbq on board.
i was initially thinking of drilling a rod holder into the hull, but a marine mechanic friend of mine said ABSOLUTELY not. he gave me the reasons why, but i am still not 100% sure about his response.
basically, i want to get a cheap filet table, and then place a cheap (20 bucks) camping style flat bbq with propane tank on top and cook.
the filet table needs to be mounted inside of a rod holder, and the cheap-o bbq can be tossed in the garbage when it gets dirty.
i thought this was better (i saw it done on a buddy's center console boat) than buying the $250 stainlessbqq at west marine. the expensive bbq still needs a rod holder mounting set up installed.
ANY FEEDBACK on drilling a rod holder?

How much did y'all pay for BIMINI tops, installed?
15 August 2006 - 02:30 PM
I am in love with my new little toy, but the sun has been killin' me.
I have ordered a bimini top from Sea Doo dealer locally, price is 706.90 installed.
How does this sound to you guys?

hydrurf pattern opinions?
07 August 2006 - 05:58 AM
I have narrowed it down to Dark Grey, but now want some pros and cons of the various patterns?
Also, has anyone ordered the kit without the HYDROTURF logo on the swim deck?

Tower Question for Challenger 180, 2005
22 July 2006 - 07:11 PM
New owner of a 2005 Challenger 180. I have seen the tower/bimini set up as pictured below, and have fallen in love with it. The thing is I can't seem to get info on this piece.
Is this a factory option? If so, could one order it through a dealer and install after...?
Thanks!
