i have a chall 180, i looked into towers...
monster makes one, good price, but not very attractive visually in my opinion.
you can get the seadoo one that has an integrated bimini top from a dealer, installed i think my local guys wanted like 2600. this thing looks HOT
i passed because i bought the boat for 15000 so to invest 2600 into it on a tower was not worth it for resale purposes.
instead, i just got the sea doo bimini top (about 600) installed.

that is cheap as heck, do it.I just got my new 06' Sportster non-SCIC standard boat and ended up at $15,083.00 out the door tax included. I was told that insurance was not required on the 6.99% special finance deal but, I am thinking that I would have to be an idiot not too have some type of loss protection. I am lost to the different options on insurance for boats and need advice. I have 100/300/100 on my autos with $1,000 deductibles and by going that same route on the boat with medical payments and uninsured boater, it will run $297.00 a year. This don't seem too bad for all of the coverage I would have.
Please let me know if this seems to be "over-insured" or should I look at other policies. Does the price seem fair as well? I doo remember that I had Progressive on two new 2003 RX DI watercrafts and it was just over $500.00 a year for the pair back then. All of your thoughts and advice is appreciated. Later,LB
