we have a tower on our s200 and i would like to add a bimini top to it, is this possible? actually the first couple of times out we noticed problems with the fasteners of the tower working themselves loose, i actully almost lost one of the quick release upright nuts. when the dealer installed it, it did not seem very sturdy. anyone who feels the same way must do the following-- remove the quick release bolts and replace them with high quality stainless steel bolts with most likley a nine-sixteenth head, so they can be properly tightened. now, i am unaware if they left some washers off of the four lower mounting points of the tower, but when you grasp the bar and it has some horizontal play, even a fraction of an inch, this is magnified tenfold by the time it reaches the top of the tower. i had to add special washers to make sure that the pivot eye on the mounting point was absolutely tight, but make sure that the tower is still free to move. also make sure to use anti-seize on all ext. fasteners exposed to the elements. well thats enough of my rambling, for today.

my 2005 speedster 200 needs some interior carpet, i try to keep the interior clean but it is absolutley impossible to keep a hard white surface clean, especially when its the floor! it seems that i follow everyone through the boat with a rag and im constantly scrubbing some surface or another. if anyone out there has purchased the carpet from the company on e-bay tell me about it. they suggest to glue it down but i dont like that so i was thinking of either snap buttons or velcro strips.
