hydo-turf is being offered on e-bay for roughly $300us by AandD auto. is this a good price?Hydor turf is the way to go even thou it is glued down. I have no regrets, zero zilch with the permanence. Check out there website--we even get a good discount for being members of this forum.
If you don't go with hydro-turf as far as carpet I am only aware of the stock carpetting.
I just hose my turf off and dirt washes away. It adds great appearance to the boat. Feels good on the feet and knees.

is it possible to check the hours without taking the boat to the dealer? do you need a diagnostic tool to check or can you make the check engine light flash you the info like on some cars? how much is a diagnostic tool? There is no hour meter, you have to bring your boat to your dealer, they have something to check it...

i also have an 05 200 370 and as far as i can tell the three models with the twin engines are the same except that the base model is fuel injected, the next one is supercharged and the new 430 is supercharged and intercooled. i also wish i had waited for the wake model as it was exactly what i was looking for before i even knew it existed. i also have to say that i am a little dissapointed with the performance of my boat as it was highly overrated, i also never got the chance to test it before i bought it. my last statement may be a little shocking and it is the fact that i have had the chance to use the base model 315hp and it goes a couple of mphs slower with much better fuel consumption!! in closing, these are all great boats and they are built to perform but also to last a long time!! so if your 370 is only a couple of mphs slower i wouldnt worry too much!!Hey does anyone know how fast the 06 speedster is? Not just guessing but really know. It's killing me. I had just bought the 05 had it one month then heard that the 06 was going to have 430HP!
In Topic: Speedster 200/430/ rxp/rxt in the ocean???

even though my 200 only has about 15hrs on it i have taken it through almost every water condition and the closest to the ocean has been lake ontario. let me tell you that i have had some pretty miserable days in the chop! i thought maybe i wasnt going fast enough to fly across the wake but you come down pretty hard when you hit some large waves. what made it worse was if you try to take a break and stop the waves start coming over board! you have to keep moving and i felt as if the thing was about to fly apart when the hull smacks into the waves. i love my speedster 200 and would not trade it for any other boat in any other class it is a well rounded boat. my advise is to test drive anything before you purchase it!!I have a 370 on a very large lake. I have to agree i'ts not much fun with a big chop. I thought because of the weight and deep V it would take the waves a little better than it dose. That said it's still a blast to drive I just need to leave my wife on shore to have any fun on the rough days.i need some real world advice
i am in south florida and i am interested in a sport boat or pwc...
i am considdering the sppedster 200/ 430...or the rxp or rxt
i am concerned that i will get the crap beat out of me on a 200/430 here in the ocean, it seems like a lake boat, but i can't find anyone or any review looking at the boat in these water...
as for the pwc, do you reccomend the rxp or rxt... i will never have 3 people on board, i am really looking for what will be the real world difference between the 2...in terms of driveability, how it handles the waves/ chop/swell in the ocean
no one will let me test drive both in the ocean...
i am most concerned about getting beat up in the waves... i know trhe rxt will be a little smoother, but i don't know of anyone who has experience with both or all 3 for that matter...
any help/advice/experience you can provide would be great
thanks
David
