just had a thought - if this seaslide reduces friction it will increase striaght line speed - will it affect handling on tight turns at speed? - which lets face it its what these boats are good at.
maybe you only need to apply it to the planing area and nothing else.

Hi guys,
A couple of things in regards to using Seaslide.
A clean dry surface is critical to getting the materals to bond to your hull. If sanding is objectionable, cleaning with scotchbtite pad and isopropyl alcohol prior to application is recommended.
It is also recommeded for high speed turns, that you do not coat the chines of your SeaDoo Hull. The priciple by which Seaslide works is the reduction of hydrodynmamic drag- think of the slime on a fish's scales. It glides through the water because the frictional force is only due to water/water. If it was water, scales, or in the case of SeaDoos, water /gel coat, or Wax, the frictional forces are actually much higher. If you lose that drag on your turning surfaces, you will affect your turning radius.
It is a water based polyurethane coating- you can take it off with a pressure washer or scotchbrite pad- also beaching will remove some of the coating. Normal loading/unloading will not affect a properly applied coating. It dries to the touch in about 30 min, and fully cures in about 5 hours.
Seaslide is also sold in pints, which are sufficient to do a SeaDoo, with touch ups, a couple of times.
Racers in Austrialia, the US and Europe are using the material. Testing we did with recreation riders showed increased Range ( fuel economy) and speed.
