Outer Reefs off San Juan, PR
Seas 4-6 feet, 15 MPH off shore winds, on a nice northeast ground swell created by a low preassure that is flooding Puerto Rico since 3 days ago.
4 hours of surfing, my back still hurts!!!
Average speed - 28 MPH getting to and from the reefs, 7.5 miles each way.
4 surfboards (3 longboards) on a soft surfboard rack adapted to the "sun pad" on the transom of the boat. I'm not getting the Wakeboard tower anymore as this adaptation is perfect (and cost only $50).
Great surfing day!!!
Thank you Mother Nature...

NORTH NORTHEAST SWELLS. NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS.

My friends, however, the ones that don't work and don't have a family, were in.
Here are a couple of pictures, it was bigger that the photos depict:

Another pic:The 6 to 7 fett swell turned out to produce 10-14 foot breakers. All reefs were unsurfable, except the only one that can hold this kind of size and swell direction. I limited myself to taking a couple of photos, I'm not in shape anymore for this kinds of waves. In the past I've had bigger waves break on me, and I know that in the shape I'm in, It could have cost me dearly.

Those waves are for real. In in hour that I was there, only 3 waves were ridden, and two of them were tow ins. 4 persons almost drowned, and their boards were either broken or lost! 10 years ago, I would have been there...wow - good pics - my other doo is a 7ft fish but im not in any shape for those waves either

still think that seadoos are the best
30 or so trips and approx 40 hours of actual engine run time (short season due to weather)
approx 8-10 litres per hour fuel comsumption
mostly water skiing so constantly starting and stopping
flushed and washed down each time as we boat in salt water
no mech problems at all
hassle free boating and cheap at that - as long as george dubya stops buying the worlds oil we might have some left for us boaters
heres to a longer season next year
