Here's something I found to help everyone save some $$$$.
ENJOY!
2005 Sea-Doo Challenger 180 Sport Boat Dealer Invoice Report
List Price: $20,999 - 185 hp Rotax
List Price: $21,999 - 215 hp Rotax
Dealer Invoice: $15,349 - 185 hp Rotax
Dealer Invoice: $16,099 - 215 hp Rotax
This is the base dealer cost before actual freight and setup costs
Trailer Cost: $400
Painted trailer cost. Add $150 for galvanized trailers
Freight Cost: $650
This is a standardized freight cost. All Sea-Doo dealers pay the same amount.
Assembly Cost: $80 to $125 estimated
Sea-Doo does not publish a setup cost for sport boats.
Ready to sell cost: $16,479 - 185 hp Rotax
Ready to sell cost: $17,229 - 215 hp Rotax
Wholesale Incentives: no dealer holdback or sales incentives on this model
The "Ready to sell cost" is the cost of the machine with NO PROFIT to a dealer. Dealers do not stay in business very long by selling machines for no profit.
Many dealers charge additional fees for "Freight and Setup" over and above the selling price of the machine. Add the "Selling Price" to the "Freight and Setup" charges and subtract the "Ready to sell cost" to determine the PROFIT a dealer is asking to make.

No info on the speedster. I only have it for the '05 180 and the X. You can get what you need at ATVPrice.comThanks, this is very useful information! Can you get this information for the 2005 Speedster 200?
It will cost you $20 but it's worth it for how much it will save you in the end.
Hey kman, so what do you think about the performance? Don't leave us hangin. Does the 215 HP move the boat OK or does it fall short.
