just got a 180 scic pick up on 4 2 05 still snow outside

Somebody finally took the plunge! I look forward to hearing a first hand report on how the boat handles with the 215HP engine. I am thinking that this will be my "upgrade" from my Sportster 4-tech, but I really have to get some data on handling and performance first. I really wanted the SCIC Sportster, but my family is bugging me for more room. Let us know how it works out when the snow melts!

2005 challenger 180 pick up soon still snow outside

I'm in the midst of purchasing a Challenger 180 215hp SCIC. I just can't decide on color...I like the Copper but my wife thinks it will look dated in no time flat. Says to go with the blue to be safe. We have both colors w/wakeboard tower here at our dealership. I'd luv to see some mph results. Also, I have to agree on the nose, it's blunt and till it's on water I would have to say it takes away from the racey look. I can live with that if the boat is fast

yuji - whatever you decide i am sure you will not be dissapointed
i have been out in mine for about 40mins in total and i still cant remove the smile from my face!

just one piece of advice - whoever the dealer is - make sure you are happy with them and if possible have a chat with some of their existing customers - just to find out what they are like at after sales

we all know that salesmen are your best friend when you are about to buy - but things can change quickly. not that i have had a ny bad experiences with seadoo but i have with another huge us boat builder - at the end of the day its the dealers responsibility.

I'm going in today to deal on them...we'll see i guess. I took the whole family out to look at them and see which color they liked and it was a stalemate So...I still don't know which one to get. My truck is white with blue graphics so the blue 180 would obviously look good in transit. The burnt orange is really a nice departure from the norm tho'...lots of white/blue boats around here, be nice to have something different. I just worry that the novelty will wear off and then regret and then buyers remorse and then.,..well you get the picture

Have to make a decision sooner or later...wish us luck

Hey Yuji i check the pics of the challenger 180 you post on the galery... the orange is very nice!!! but why they put the tower in the back like that its ugly....can we put it in the center of the boat?
