So, you have been working 3 hours? How long should I plan on taking for installation?

well got it all in; if I worked with-out a break or rain interruption i would say install time would be 1.5-2 hours; I am very happy with the final look the mats is "grey" in "Cut Diamond"
what do you guys think; the above pic is how it is now; with only the middle piece on the blue engine compartment; The kit has 3 total pieces for the engine compartment but i feel that they take away from the color of the boat and it is just too much gray. here is what it would look like if I applied all 3 sections
So what do you guys think stay with the middle only; or go with all 3?

Looks excellent, great job on the install!

I agree, I would just stick with the "one" in the middle.

It looks crooked!

As for the rear hatch, I say go with middle only. My SK only has 1 piece in the back through the middle. This is where most people will walk across any how.

I agree as well. And...the vote in my office is to keep just the one. You can always put the others on later if needed but it'd be a pain to take them off.
Looks awesome. Thanks for taking the time to take and post the photos. I didn't want to post after them and sully up your instructional thread.
Yeah I would stick with just the one pick on the back hatch.
Myself, I'll have to add all 3, my cover is soooo faded that the turf is gonna be my "new paint job"!
Anyone have any ideas if the black mat fades at all over time? I saw a Yamaha boat that had it factory installed and it looked a little gray/faded, not sure how old it was but I definitely don't want that kind of thing occuring for the investment I'm making.

We had black in our previous boat, http://seadoosportbo...droturf-t6.html, it was down for 5 years when we traded it in. I would say as long you take care of it then you should be fine; i.e. don't let it sit outside for long periods of time uncovered.Anyone have any ideas if the black mat fades at all over time? When you laid down the turf, did you use some sort or roller to work out the air and get everything adhered nicely?
I am debating whether or not I should look for some sort of laminate roller to get things down good, or if everybody gets decent results working the air out by hand.

Well, two weeks have gone by, and no turf. No email, no shipping confirmation, nothing. I can't even call them to find out what the status is, since apparently they are closed on Fridays.
