I what to try to go around to the fuel valve selector (petcock) on a 97 challenger because I known that the petcock can give you real fits on a seadoo but the way this thing is designed if you take the knob off and pushed it through the hull you would be screwed.It looks like that you might be able go through the trottle selector and maybe get a hold of it there?Does anyone know how get at the petcock?

I really like the look and feel of this forum.I live close to dale hollow lake in south ky. and the seadoo challenger I just bought is the one with the 787 seadoo engine, it is my first jetboat.I bought it pretty cheap knowing it had a problem and I'm hoping the fine folks here can help me get it going.

I have 1997 challenger that starts,idles and has great compression but just won't get up and plain off.I did notice that the pressure valve on top of the waterbox/muffler is leaking water out the bottom .I known this needs to be corrected but could this be my problem?It is a single engine 787.I really don't know were to start.
