Buckles

I bought the boat yesterday. I have read through the manual twice, cover to cover. It is apparent to me that BRP is highly, safety oriented as that theme permeates the book. Then while watching their boating safety DVD which also came with the boat, I noted all of the safety and operational devices they recommend be carried with, when the boat is in use. Such things like, whistle, anchor, fire extinguisher, oar, etc., none of which came with the boat. It leaves me with a cold feeling, when neither BRP nor their authorized dealer will provide these items, nor make them available to the new boat owner for purchase.

That being said, can you advise on the recommended weight/brand/model anchor?


By the way, they did not forget to offer me the extended warranty.
