Sea Doo repair shops in Arkansas
09 July 2011 - 01:07 PM
I have an 04 Sporster LE. I'm having some engine trouble out of it. The good folks at Bradford Marine in Hot Springs Arkansas were very rude, and not very knowledgable on my boat. I can't find anyone in Arkansas to give me any advice, much less work on it. It seems that Bradford Marine is the only place in Arkansas that works on Sea Doos. This can't be, can it?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Carb trouble?
13 June 2011 - 03:56 PM
On my Sportster Le, it redlines at 7,000rpm. While running at max speed, I start letting off the throttle slowly. Once it hits 6,000 rpm. it all at once goes back to nearly an idle. Taking off is fine, it's just when I'm letting off that there's no in between. It seems like it's wide open or nothing. Could it need the carb cleaned or rebuilt? Thanks Ben.
Reserve oil tank on Sporster?
12 June 2011 - 01:22 PM
Hello all. Just bought an '04 Sporster LE. My oil light and buzzer comes on every 4 or 5 minutes for 4 or 5 minutes. I was reading about reserve tanks needing to be full. I've looked at mine and cant find a reserve. Does it have one and where might it be? Thaks a bunch for any advice. Ben.
Speedster LE oil light coming on
10 June 2011 - 09:50 PM
Just bought an o4 Speedster LE with the 947. After about 4 minutes on the water the oil light and buzzer comes on. The first time I shut it down and double checked the oil level and everything looked fine. After sitting about 4 minutes I took off and the light went off with the sound of another buzz. I thought everything was ok. Now the light and buzzer comes on after about every 3 or 4 mintues of running. Then after about 3 or 4 minutes of running another buzzer and the light goes out. Seems like the engine is getting oil because if it wasn't, it would probably be locked up right now. Just wondering what would make the light and buzzer act this way. Or is it actually stopping oiling every so often? Any help is greatly appreciated. Ben.
