I have a 2011 wake 230 and it has been in the shop 5 times due to cluster issues. Boat will not work correctly in the "ski " mode and they have not been able to correct it so far. This news explains why they can't get the right part.

Thanks for the tip, I'm leaning toward new as well, just cant decide on SP or Wake yet.....I'm looking forward to the 2012 release to see if it's worth it or get a 2011.
Just bought a 2011 wake 230, a step up from the Challenger 180. Love it so far. No issues (only been on the water 3 times though) In Virginia and the wake season is over unless you like 58 degree water or colder now. That is what it was last weekend and we had one brave sole boarding in that frigid water with wetsuit of course!
In Topic: Feedback on 2011 230 Wake, especially the tower

Just bought a 2011 wake 230 and have been out twice. Stepped up from Challenger 180 that I had installed a tower on. It was a great boat for starters, but could not get enough wake even with 4 people and 920 lbs of ballast, so we upgraded to the 230. Wake is much better even without balast. Add the ballast and your flying prety high without much effort. The tower is rock solid. great design, clean lines and no wobble/shake or anything of that nature. I am very happy- I like the new design.

Hello, I am looking at the 2011 230 Wake, and I heard that the towers on the 2008 were shaky, but Kevin tells me they have redesigned them. So, I am looking for feedback from current 2011 Wake owners, and any feedback at all about any problems at all would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
James
