Just got a call from my repair shop telling me the throttle body on my 240hp mercury efi is stuck open. The shop is telling me the part is no longer manufactured nor is there a replacement part available. They sent an email to repair shops looking for a use throttle body but they are not getting any response. They are telling me they could try to free it up but there is no guarantee this will work.

Has anyone expereinced this problem and what was the outcome. If can't get this fixed the boat is basically useless.

Ran into a issue yesterday with my 2002 Utopia. The throttle linkage is not working causing the boat to sputter. Before I take it into the shop, wanted to see the shop manual. Any suggestions?
