Hello All - so glad to find this forum!
I am purchasing a boat this next week or so. I've only seen pics online and plan on seeing it is person this week and talking to the salesman.
I'm seriously considering buying a 2010 180 Challenger, priced at $23,399. No rack included.
I am new to the boating world. Actually that's not completely true...I've been boating for over 3 years, but recently broke up with the man who owned the boat. I've decided boating is too much fun to have to depend on a man to get me to the lake....so I'm breaking out of my comfort zone and I am determined to learn how to back up trailers, and load and unload a boat on my own!
Can as many people as possible give me some advice about what I should ask about and consider BEFORE making a purchase? All I know it what looks good - the rest is beyond me. At this point I'm happy to know that the swimming platform will allow me to get on and off the boat without someone giving me a "boost"...and I will install a GPS on whatever I buy so that I won't get lost. HA!
Any pre-purchasing advice would be GREAT!
Oh...and here is the boat, if pics help.
