Finally got my trim plate screws loosened up yesterday and took the doo out for a '"spin" with the plate all the way up . I didn't mind it at all, it really seemed to lighten up and had a freed up feel more like a propped boat that was trimmed out . Lost very little on holeshot and gained a little on top end , about 60 on the dreamometer .On the wakes of other boats it really came out of the water nice caught some real nice air . That was ok with just me but might have been a little rowdy had the wife been along. Which brings me to my question- When I put more people in ( I was alone yesterday ) the bow will be heavier and it will porpoise less right? It Would be interesting to hear from you guys on where you run your plates on the same model as I have.
