sorry for the delay been busy at work. Since the rebuild works great. 7900 rpms top speed of 56. They did use the stainles washers and no it was not under warranty. cost me around 950 and had it for a week. The either replaced the oil pump or rebuilt not sure. I bought the boat used a month earlier and it broke shortly after. had a few good days on the lake and then the loss of power. Luckily they only charged me for the parts and a couple hours of labor. They said it would normally run around 2500.00Hows your doo rinning since the rebuild? I pretty much think that is issue too. Will be bringing it to dealer tomorrow. Was your repair covered under warranty? Did they rebuild the SC with SS washers and rebuilt the oil pumps? Also how long did they have the boat for? Sorry for all questions just curious about what to expect.

To me it sounds like you might of ingested something if you went from full speed to no power, have you looked inside the intake crate to see if there is anything in there? Also take a look from the pump looking in if you do not see anything via the grate.
Sorry the boat didnt lose power only when I power it down from full speed to full stop using throttle lever, then it kinda skips as its slowing down
