I have also bought the Wake 230 in 2009 and it's always been shaking, I tight it every time I go out but it is very uncomfortable. Lately the gel coat near front legs of the tower started cracking, so I went to the dealer and he told me that it is design problem and that's why sea-doo has changed the tower design for 2010 and 2011. I know some towers that have broken also injuring the passengers.
I tried to buy the replacement hardware installation kit, but sea-doo has discontinued it.
The only solution I received was to remove the tower or replace it with the new tower 2010 or 2011 design at my own expense.
