i mounted mine to the speedometer wheel braket, i'll be checking it out this week.I mounted mine on the bottom of the boat in the middle of the trailing edge. I bought a cheap one so it didn't come with a transom mount bracket. I took it out for the 1st time yesterday. It worked fine. Even at full throtle I still got a good reading. I'll be going to several different lakes and I'm not familiar with the depths in all the areas I'm going to be running. So, I feel more comfortable having one.is anyone running a fish finder? if so where did you mount your transducer? and how well does it work? thanks.
