I just bought a 1997 Sea Doo 1800 Challenger and I have some problems with 1 of the engines... please help!

A. When stating it, its really hard to start.
B. When it runs its looses RPM (I can max burst it to 4000RPM)

The previous owner removed the premix with oil/gas.. And told me to mix 1:44 oil/gas.. Is this true.. Any other SeaDoo owners had this prob? and what did you do to fix it?

Other engine runs perfectly!
