It can get really choppy but we tend to stick to the bays that are more sheltered. We have a big tide here that can move more than 45', so boating can be a challenge depending on the state of the tide.Welcome to the world of Sea-Doo boats. I'm sure you are going to enjoy it. How rough is the channel there?
I intend to fit a GPS/sonar to help me keep an eye on the rocks that appear as the tide goes down. Does anyone know of a decent unit that I could install in the boat? The console is quite busy so there isn't a lot of space for a large screen.
