Hi,how difficult was it to re&re the float etc. for the gas gauge. Mine is shot as well (96 Speedster). So I am just wondering if it is worth the hassle to replace it or just go without. And my oil light goes on in hard turns as well, usually when the oil is less than 1/3 in the tank though.

Thanks for the reply. When you say you converted yours, what did that entail? Or is it possible to simply leave the oil reservoir empty and just mix in the gas tank and run that?
