The system is working great. When it is all the way up, it does not affect spinning by any means. There are two holes you need to drill, for the hydraulics lines, but I guess I've sealed them pretty good, since my bilge is always dry. It is incredible how a few degrees of bow down makes a diferrence in handling!

I've got the Place Diverter Kit made specifically for the MErcury Jet Drives. It's one plate that substitutes the factory Ride Plate, so you cannot condrol lifting, but it's pretty much an easy installation and works great.

Go to www.placediverter.com and click on the Mercury Trim System on your left. They got a few pictures. If you like, I can take some pictures of my installation, but probablly will post them on monday, since I plan on using the boat this weekend!

Does the Place Diverter system keep you from spinning your boat around. I am worried about that! I wonder how it would stand up to that? Other than that it looks like a very good system. I like the fact that you do not have to drill into the hull and that you have full on the fly adjustability. I would very much like to hear more about how yours is doing!

I ordered a 2 step ladder from Windline to replace my 1 step stock ladder on my 2004 Utopia 205.
After working with Lakisha from Windline (makers of SeaDoo's ladders) I found out this info, the 2 step UP2 -E is the 2 step with straight top arms. The UP2 -C is the 2 step with curved top arms.
The Utopia has straight top arms so after ordering the UP2-E it was a direct swap out. No hardware to replace or holes to drill. So for less than $100 with shipping, I replaced the hard to use 1 step for a much easier 2 step ladder. It utilized the stock mounts and looks like the 2005 set up.
So if any of you are struggling boarding tired skiers or tubers, I'd say, make the switch.
Windline doesn't show the SeaDoo ladders on their website, but just give them a call and they can help you out.

R-doo, Thanks for all the leg work. I am sure several of us are interested in doing the 2-step! Perhaps if we got together and ordered 10 or so then Lakisha would give us a deal?

Here is a video of my 10 yr old grandson wakeboarding out on lake Chesdin, VA this Saturday. Make sure your Windows Media Player is in Skin Mode for best quality. Our boat is a Speedster200 with an Airboom Wakeboard Pylon. I'll post some boat videos soon.

I don't know how long I can leave the video up since it is about 15 meg. My internet service provider might charge me too much if the bandwidth usage gets really high. Anyways, enjoy. This is only his 6th time wakeboarding and it looks like he's a natural.

WOW, That is awesome! Great video. Set with the music and everything! Very nice. The kids got skills! Maybe you should have him sign some pictures for us now! That way we will have them when he goes pro! My son is 5 and he just does not seem ready. He is riding the tube and stuff. I am thinking about getting him a wakeboard for x-mas and then maybe next year he will be ready to give it a whirl! Plus is mommy thinks that wakeboarding would be safer than his dirtbike?????
