Of course, you have to unhook the brake lines at the front hitch. They are flexible and were long enough that I didn't have to splice - just hook back up. The critical thing is to bleed the lines after you reconnect - otherwise, the air you introduce may prevent the brakes from working. Your trailer manual tells how to bleed the lines. Best of luck.

Kevin,
I had a similar issue with my 2010 Challenger 210. I took it out for the first time this week (0 hrs on boat). I got 100' away from the ramp and the engine maintenance light came on for both engines. I also noticed excessive vibration and noise. I took the boat out away from the no-wake area and tried accelerations and played around with stopping and starting each engine. Found the port engine was the source of the vibration. I brought the boat home and checked the inlets and outlets and found no debris and no significant damage to the wear ring (althought the port wear ring looks like it has some scuff marks).
Took the boat to the dealer yesterday. He cleared the maintenance lights lights - he said it is unknown why they came on. All s/w recall campaign fixes had been applied. He also had no diagnosis for the vibration/noise. His comment was that there are just some differences in engine-to-engine. I took the boat out again to a local lake and noticed it definately pulls to the port side even though the engines are synced. This indicates that the port engine is not putting out the same flow as the starboard.
At this point, the dealer is suggesting I just keep using the boat and see if it gets better/worse. He said there will always be slight differences in engines/pumps. I will keep you posted on my saga.

This is a bolt on hinge from Fulton. Fulton also has a weld-on type, but I thought this was easier. I put about 200 miles on it today and everything held up fine.

I also added the Aerial Freeride wakeboard tower. It wasn't easy -- took me a good day's worth of work to put it all together and hook up the speakers. I am satisfied with the final outcome.

I took the boat out for the first time this week. I got about 100 feet from the dock and the maintenance light came on for both engines. I also noticed a significant vibration and noise coming from the port engine. I stopped and started each engine and still the noise/vibration didn't go away. After I got it home I thoroughly checked for debris in the jet and there was nothing. Today, I took it to the dealer (2 hr away) and he cleared the maintenance light (not sure why it came on)and checked out the engines. He found nothing, but suggested that I go through the break-in period and see if the noise/vibration subsides. Not exactly a comforting feeling.
This is my third jet boat. I love the fun and safety it provides my family. I sure hope I don't regret this purchase.

I ended up putting an aftermarket swing-tongue on my new trailer. It was the same solution that BRP proposed to me. It is not what I wanted, but at least I can get it in my garage now.

TKDTOM,
Thanks for the info. When you say it will be better than the factory, what did they do to it? I see that Fulton has an aftermarket swing hitch coupling that can be welded or bolted in place. Is that what they did?
BRP finally got back to me and they say they are working on a solution for me..... we'll see.... its been a month now.
