I get a lot of spray in my face when I am tubing. I know how to adjust the plate. what I do not know is which way to adjust and what does it do.

need help please.
2004 challenger x with mercury 250 optimax.
has anyone had any problems with these?
my boat hesitates at 5000 rpm. and dies. and will not restart. checked system and found that there was no fuel pressure. seems like one of the low pressure pulling pumps is weak. I primed the fuel system and the boat started again. went out again and same problem, after couple minutes boat hesitates, than no power and will die.

I hope someone can help me.

MY BOAT WAS PULLING RIGHT. SO I ADJUSTED THE CABLE, IT IS OK NOW BUT I CANNOT ADJUST ANY MORE. DOES THIS INDICATE THAT I NEED A NEW CABLE? DO THEY STRETCH?

just bought the boat. please help me with maintenance, I do not know how to do any maintenance on the engine. how do I change the oil? spark plugs? winterize it? any help will be greately appreciated.
