it has been my experience that when this happens (4 short beeps) you should unplug the dess and engage it again. my wife found this problem usually when i was sitting on a tube about 30 feet away. to solve we had a pratice session, with just playing with what worked when putting the dess on and what did not. hope this helps.

In Topic: New Speedster 200 Trim Tabs from BRP

i can't find these tabs anywhere on brp.com can someone point me into the right direction. This is the web site that I found the information about the new Speedster 200 trim tabs by BRP. www.jetboating.net .Kit part #295 500 986 sold by BRP.A complete set of pictures can be found on the site listed under GREGZ.Perhaps we may have to wait for good boating weather and for the boating season to really start before we start getting reports of how well the trim tabs work. These tabs are manually adjustable only and can be adjusted up to 1/4 inch.I don't believe that BRP would put anything on the market if it did not work.If they work I want to put a set on my boat.If I find any performance data on these tabs I will let everyone know.Thanks,Gary.I have a set of Smart Tabs on my 200 and they work very good for choppy water. The automatic actuators are kinda different. I am thinking of getting hydraulic ones. They do decrease speed by 3-4 mph, but it is worth it, but I'm not sure if they are fully retracted at top speed either. They may not be.
i know the part number is : Kit part # 295 500 986
thanks

we love lake ray roberts, but spend most of the time on lewisville lake cause of how close it is to us. we too have heard great things from possom kingdom and want to go next year. hows joe pool? never been to that one.You can usually catch us on Joe Pool Lake in Arlington, Lake Grapevine in Grapevine Tx, or Bardwell in Ennis Tx.Don't know if this has been done before.
Where doo you doo your thing?
I doo Castaic Lake in Northern Los Angeles, and Lake Isabella near Bakersfield regularly.
I also will hit up the Colorado River, and Lake Mohave on a few special trips a year.
We've been to Eagle Mtn and Lake Ray Roberts as well. Plan to go to Possom Kingdom next season.
