As an update:
It turns out that the problem was a stator assembly sensor...AKA a crank trigger.
THAT is a lot easier to handle than a $1500 MPEM. Even a broken watch is right twice a day!

Ski floor storage lock latch...
Seadoo wants $60 for this part. I found one at Bass Pro Shop that is exactly the same for $24. The only difference is that the Seadoo part can be locked with a key and the Bass Pro cant.
Hey Claudio, I know I'm a few years after the fact but do happen to have a part number for theat Bass Pro Shop replacement part for the ski compartment latch? NOW they want 80 bucks for the OEM part and I can't find anything close (at least online) at Bass Pro Shop.

Thanks Kevin,
There was no way to remove anything other than the foam seat back (and naturally the seat pad that you can sit on) which didn't provide access to the nuts. I will share what I did find. You must drill an access hole through the VERTICAL portion of the "anchor locker"/"bow seat". I wound up drilling two holes because I tried the horizontal surface by the drainage hole first. This only led to a fiberglass hull reinforcement "frame" thing. (pardon my lack of proper terminology) The second hole I drilled was vertical, as if you were going straight behind the bow eye and about 3-4 inches below the lip that the seat pad rests on. I used a 3.5 inch hole saw. I am including photos
