He didn't mention anything about Seadoo, just Boss so maybe SeaDoo has nothing to do with it. I'm sure Boss has the design so if you want a stock tower, it's just a matter getting them the make of your Doo. If you want it in a different location, then I believe you would have to provide demensions and it may cost a bit more since it may be considered custom.Pyrock, what was your dealer able to do? Could they get a tower for you from Seadoo?

Well, installation was a piece of cake!! I took it out the next morning and it worked flawlessly. I didn't notice anything different even when beaching. All I know is that it was nice knowing it was there because the beach I was on was pretty gravely so if I didn't have Keelguard, it could have been ugly. After inspecting it the next day, there wasn't even a scratch on the Keelguard. It's soft enough that it absorbs dings but tough enough that it doesn't scratch at all. Nice product and well worth the money!!

I just installed Keelguard on my C180 and it was a piece of cake. Tomorrow, I test it out. I'll keep you all posted.

I dont know if that is true because my dealer was more than happy to accomodate me. Maybe if you go through a dealer, it's ok. If I get a Boss, I'd have it custom made to be mounted towards the center of the boat. Here's the like to Boss Wakeboard Towers.Who is the manufacturer of the stock SeaDoo tower? I've been told that they cannot violate the license agreement with seadoo by selling direct. They won't sell you a tower either. Craziest thing I've ever heard.
My dealer directed towards the manufacturer of the stock SeaDoo tower. They said they will take measurements and can order one for roughly $1500 but I didn't like the location which is too far back for my taste. This is why I like the Monster Tower.
It's my understanding that Seadoo WILL NOT sell you a tower if you didn't originally order it with your boat! Go figure.
That's a pretty sweet tower system and affordable too!! I checked out the pics in the SeaDoo section but didn't see any on a Challenger 180. Has anyone tried one on a C180 yet?Check out www.monstertower.com.
How does it compare to the SeaDoo tower? The only thing I dont like about the SeaDoo tower (for the C180) is that it sits pretty far back on the boat and may contribute to the porposing. I would prefer to have it sit more in the center like the Monster Tower does.
Does anyone know how much the SeaDoo Tower cost?

On their website, they claim that it actually increases top speed by 2-3 mph... probably by allowing it to plane on the Keelguard.does the keel gaurd affect the way the boat drives or the handling at all?
