I was wondering if anybody knows if the 25928 Lenco TrimTab System for Sea Doo would work with the speedster 200.Hello out there, has anyone seen the new Speedster Trim tabs that appear to have just hit the market from Bombardier? I saw some pictures on one of the other jet boat sites. They are supposed to control porpoising and maybe even increase speed. If they do what they claim, they might be a worthwhile investment.Thanks,Gary.

I have a 370 on a very large lake. I have to agree i'ts not much fun with a big chop. I thought because of the weight and deep V it would take the waves a little better than it dose. That said it's still a blast to drive I just need to leave my wife on shore to have any fun on the rough days.i need some real world advice
i am in south florida and i am interested in a sport boat or pwc...
i am considdering the sppedster 200/ 430...or the rxp or rxt
i am concerned that i will get the crap beat out of me on a 200/430 here in the ocean, it seems like a lake boat, but i can't find anyone or any review looking at the boat in these water...
as for the pwc, do you reccomend the rxp or rxt... i will never have 3 people on board, i am really looking for what will be the real world difference between the 2...in terms of driveability, how it handles the waves/ chop/swell in the ocean
no one will let me test drive both in the ocean...
i am most concerned about getting beat up in the waves... i know trhe rxt will be a little smoother, but i don't know of anyone who has experience with both or all 3 for that matter...
any help/advice/experience you can provide would be great
thanks
David

I have the same boat and hit 62mph on a gps but my Spedo on the boat only reads 42mph. How were you checking the speed?I bought an '05 S200 370 back in July. After passing 10 hours and having its first service, I decided to start opening it up.
With a bimini top installed but down, 3/4 tank of gas, and me and one passenger, I only managed 55.4 mph as a top speed. There was no wind, and the water was calm but not glass-smooth. My rpms showed 7,800 port and about 7,600 stbd.
Wasn't this boat supposed to hit the mid-60's with two 185-Hp engines? I can see a slight dropoff in speed for the extra weight, but 8 mph?
I would appreciate others' comments on the top speed of their boats. I'm a little bit disappointed with the top speed. Out-of-the-hole performance is fine, it's just the stop speed that I'm not happy with...
