After my last outing, the right rea area of the bumper guard/trim around the boat was coming off. It appears previous person tried to reglu/caulk or residue from factory. I bought some Marine Grade glue/caulk...would the solution be:
unscrew middle/back clip, move posrtion out of way and clean very good, apply glue/caulk/sealant, push back in place, tape to hold in place, then wait 24 hours?
Thanks...Mojo

Anyone ever changed it out themselves? Can you tell me where it is? Anything online tell me what the part number is and what it costs?
Thanks

I enjoy the site and plan on being around for awhile...asking questions and answering them as well, but...
...what other seadoo/jetboat sites out there have more daily traffic which can provide quicker and greater number of ideas to solve problems?
Thanks

Shifter Adjustment??!
23 July 2010 - 04:31 PM
First time in water with boat. Get the 4 beeps (not in neutral ) although in neutral, unless I push to reverse then back to N.
Also, when started and in N, it actually moves very fast! Too fast.
Thought it was idle high (what should idle be at N?) but with 4 beeps, maybe shifter needs adjusting along with N sensor?
Also, in N, whenoving I can see jet flowing, if Move it slightly lower (towards R) jet flow stops and really in N.
Finally...can I easily fix or just have dealer do it?
Thanks....mojo

HELP - ON Water and oveheating!
23 July 2010 - 04:17 PM
Just dropped 2007 180 in water and after 1 min over 6000 rpm, long beep and exhaust flashing and P1545 on dash.
Tried reverse, tried running at lower Ron gradually and thought Ok then did it again.
Called dealer and he said could be faulty sensor.
Anybody/anything? Before putting back on trailer or after?
