I have a 2002 GTX 4-Tec Limited Edition and last weekend all the sudden the gauges filled with moisture so bad that I could hardly read how fast I was going or the time. Does anyone know how to remove the plastic piece so that I can get the moisture out? And may it be that there is a seal that is rotted and needs to be replaced?
Another problem that I have never had with my doo before is the monitor screen reading SENSOR when I connect the lanyard. I read in the owner's manual that this means it is something to do with electrical? Like I said the doo has never read SENSOR before except this last weekend (Memorial Day) when we go it out for the first time from the winter. When we were out on the water and I connected the lanyard there would be 2 short beeps with monitor reading SENSOR. When we got out of the water I checked the doo again (without starting it) and the monitor screen wouldn't show anything and the beep was conitinous.
I'm not sure what to do. There are no sea doo mechanics or dealers around me so I'm trying to figure this our on my own before I have to travel somewhere. If anyone has any advice please let me know!! It would be greatly appreciated =]
