The noodle is a good idea. They are very cheap, we have dollar stores here in Alabama so you can get them for a dollar. Depending on the length you cut your pieces, you could probably get 4 to 6 cuts out of one noodle. Ski rope in the impeller is no fun...just ask tiggerman about it....lol
