I'm selling a Sea-Doo branded "Hydro-Turf" kit for a 16' Speedster. I don't know for sure if the kit was actually made by Hydro-Turf but it certainly looks and feels like the Hydro-Turf I had on my PWC. There are no logos on any of the pieces.
I bought this from my dealer's close out table and didn't notice that it said 16' Speedster when I actually had a 20' Speedster . Anyway, the kit is new. It is a black and white marble swirl pattern.
The box says it fits 1999 Speedster but my dealer believed all the 16' Speedsters were the same cockpit layout and should fit all years. I'm not an expert on that so maybe it's correct, maybe it's not?
The price is $50 + shipping
Payment by paypal only.

For sale - Speedster 200 wakeboard tower board rack. This mounts to the horizontal cross brace on the main tower. the clamp diameter looks to be 1 1/4". It may fit other model boats with the same size tube diameter but no guarantees on that. The rack is in very good condition and securely holds two boards using a bungee cord. It also has a quick disconnect pin that allow you to easily remove the rack during storage and transport.

Hello from So Cal

Hello - I'm a new member from Southern California. I wish I would have known about this forum earlier.
I've owned several Sea-Doo Sport Boats and PWCs over the years. I normally boat on the Colorado River and jet propulsion is the hot ticket for most of the places there.
I started with a Challenger 2000. I fell in love with Sea-Doo boats after driving this. It had the 240 Mercury and was a blast.
Next, I bought an X-20 (really the same boat with a tower and bladder). This one had the 250 hp Mercury Optimax. The tower was great but the swim platform was so small it was useless. I guess the Optimax took more room than the 240 EFI that was in my Challenger 2000. My kids learned to wakeboard off this boat and loved scaring their friends when I'd put the boat in reverse while underway sending a wave of water over the bow
Next came a Speedster 200. I hate to say it but I hated this boat and never should have bought it. It porpoised like crazy without anyone in the front (where there was no room). It continually was in the shop for a host of issues but fortunately my dealer really helped me out of it and into a 230 Wake without any pain.
The 230 Wake was a great boat but wasn't as nimble as the smaller boats. This wasn't a big issue though as the great ride and huge cockpit allowed more enjoyable trips on the bigger lakes and there was more room for friends.
Unfortunately, my family isn't as interested in boating as we once were and it became hard to justify the maintenance and expense for a toy that wasn't getting used enough. Now, all the toys are gone and I'm left with a bunch of accessories and gear that I want to get rid of.
I know there is a forum here for buying and selling but I didn't want to list anything without first introducing myself and making sure I'm not violating any forum rules in listing my items.
