I've always had the same problem, but now since my boat was rear-ended by a minivan, the bracket is bent and I cannot find a replacement. I can have reverse or a ladder.

Other than hull problems, there should be no parts issues regarding the power train, since it is the same as the skis. At least they are still in business, look what happened to Sugarsand.

A smaller wheel would probably help. I'm also 6'2" and find the shoehorn fit helps lock me into the seat during hard manuvers.
