I am also having the same issues with the bilge pump. I heard a humming noise coming from my boat one night and it happen to be the bilge pump. I also to it apart but still keeps running. can there be a recall on this. I had to unplug the wires harness. I tried taking the fuse out but still kept running. Any suggestions? Ill probably get it checked out when I winterize it.

Same here I have a 2008 challenger. I would like any info on how to do it yourself. I would rather do it myself than paying.

I had this happen to me once and it really sucks when this happens. Once I cut the rope loose off the drive shaft my boat ran fine. THe rope did not go through the impeller which I was luck. I figure if it did not go know further through the impeller you should be fine. I use my boat to go tubing a lot. I always tell the person on the tube to hold the rope close to the boat until I start pulling away slowly.
