I am trying the Ajustathrust cones in an effort to keep from changing impellers from summer to winter to keep top end up. Also to try and eliminate the 500 rpm difference between the Port and Starboard engines. Just installed them and have not made any adjustments to springs or cones as of yet. Initial run showed RPM up 200 rpm and speed down slightly but the engines are now within 300 rpm of each other in mid range. They always reach the same top rpm.

I have a 07 230SE no tower and out of the box after break in it consitently runs 57.4 mph on GPS with two people +1/2 tank of gas. I noticed a friend of mine who has an 08 same boat same fuel and same passengers is running in the 52 mph range on gps. Looking at the 07 vs 08 BoatTest.com reports it shows this also. The rpm's appear to be less on the 08, is this for fuel mileage and is it accomplished by computer? Any thoughts. Love the boat, best out of 5 twin engine Seadoo's I have owned.
