@ $45,000 and 2 months of boating do not think I should have to, but, now that I will turn it into a billboard I probably want it to stay afloat for longer than a year so I will do something. Thanks, James

Yeah, I totally understand. Be persistent contacting BRP and keep us posted.

I have been in contact with BRP as well, trying ti figure out if it is going to be covered under a warranty, a third party Fiberglass specialist was brought in by BRP and said it was a manufacture "flaw" but 13 weeks now and still BRP seems to drag feet as to what is going to be done. I am just a bit upset that such a new boat has and issue and seems like warranty issues are not being honored.I agree, something seems very bizarre about this. Have you contacted your dealer, what did they say?
