I am considering a used, 2006 Sea Doo 150 sportster with the 215 hp engine.

What should I look for while looking over this boat? Any insight into this choice of boat? IF you own one, can I send you some follow up questions by email?

I look for a clean lower hull, no damage of exposed fiberglass. I would also have the supercharger inspected and a compression test done. If you can lake test the boat to make sure it performs properly. Also have a good look at the prop and wear ring.

If you are thinking of buying the 155hp version, don't do it. In my opinion the 215/255 is the way to go.
I use my 150 the same way you are planing and its just the right amont of power. I switched from a sportster LE DI with 130HP and what a difference. For resale the 255 will always have a bigger apeal. Pulling tubers from a dead stop is where you will see the biggest benifit.
