I just purchased a roll/mat of hydroturf and unfortunately bought it without the 3m adhesive. Any ideas what type of glue to use to attach the hydroturf to the boat. Are there any special things I need to do to have it attach securely other than making sure the fiberglass is clean and swab it with alcohol before attaching?

I have a 96 Sea Doo Speedster I recently purchased and would like to repaint the yellow plastic area of the hood behind the steering wheel. Is there a specific spray paint in that color that can be used successfully without peeling. I would also like to replace the ripped vinyl seating, especially the bottom white seat cushion, is it difficult to get to and remove those small cushions? Anyone experienced in already doing this? The yellow part of the back of the seats look more intensive to replace the vinyl and look professionally done, are there any reasonably priced replacements for these?? I imagine I am not the only person with "aged" seats

Water in the boat
29 August 2008 - 07:48 AM
I just recently purchased a 1996 Sea Doo Speedster for a lake I live on. Love it! and am extremely impressed with the power and speed of my Sea Doo. I own a 22' Cobalt Cuddy and never thought I would "go smaller". I have a problem I haven't figured out. When the boat is sitting in the water with no passengers, or the boat is moving with passengers (there are just two of us and we are both thin)there is no water in the passenger area of the boat. As soon as we are sitting in the lake in idle or shut off, water comes in through the drain hole under the drivers seat and fills up about 3 inches. This again disappears when the boat is running again. I noticed that the diaphram of the scupper valve is ripped, so in reading other threads here, I bought the generic valve with the plastic ball and installed this. It helped only slightly. What now???? How do I find out if there was a recall on the valve for this year boat and will sea doo still honor the recall if there was one? Thanks for your help as I am puzzled as to what to do next.
