I have a 2001 Islandia and am wondering if there is any way to modify the intake grate to try and prevent small pieces of debris from entering the impeller? Two days in a row I have had pieces of wood get past the intake grate and jam the impeller, requiring the boat to be taken out of the water to clear the jam. Does SeaDoo make another grate or screen that could be installed over the original grate?

I just bought a 2001 Islandia (my first boat ever) and I love it. There is one slight problem. I noticed that when it gets up to higher speeds planing, it will not turn to the right. It turns left perfectly, and there is no problem when going slower. I'd appreciate any help that you might be able to provide. Thanks! Neal
